Montreal’s tourism industry has a wide variety of attractions distinctive to Montreal. They have the Fonderie Darling which is a world-wide famous art museum. This museum helps young artist various places in Canada. For the laugh-seeking individual, there is the Just for Laughs Museum. This museum has documented the long history of local and international humor. This museum is sure to be a fun time for the whole family.

Montreal also has many exciting nature attractions such as the Biodome and the Montreal Botanical Gardens. The Biodome was opened in 1992 and houses animals, plants, and can even change the climate to match a certain ecosystem. On the other hand, the Montreal Botanical Gardens offers a stupendous assortment of 22,000 different plant species and varieties. This is an internationally acclaimed garden that is thought to be one of the best in the world. The gardens offer both international and local plant life.

For the younger children, there is the Zoo Ecomuseum. This zoo has over 110 different species of animals and is great for small children. Another larger zoo is known as the Parc Safari. This interesting museum is home to more than 700 animals. Along with the zoo, there is an amusement park and a beach.

The Stewart Museum is a great attraction for any history buff. This museum has a unique collection of old maps, ancient documents, antique weapons, navigational equipment, and old scientific instruments. This only describes the permanent exhibits; there are many temporary exhibits that are sure to catch your attention. All these attractions are the reason that Montreal’s tourism industry has grown so much.
